TINY!

The first thing you notice about 9 Altars coffee shop is just how tiny it is! When you enter the place, you feel that you can barely move but there is additional seating upstairs. [Although it is still quite a small place and you can sometimes be turned away when it is too full!] The coffee shop has a prime place right next to the river meaning that you can get quite good views. However, it can be difficult to find as you have to go down a side street off the main shopping route. The coffee shop is opposite Esquires and next to Bella Italia and Café Rouge.They offer general coffee shop fare at a good price but it is the atmosphere of the place that makes it good. It feels homely and welcoming [probably due to its ‘cosy’ size] and the food seems freshly made and home-cooked.
